I am a big believer and a proponent for personal development.  I highly encourage everyone I meet to read the classics and relevant newer books on the subject.  To get healthy we go to the gym and get strong.  We feed our bodies nutritional meals to supplement the workout.  But what many people tend to forget is their mind.  The mind needs good nutrition too.

All too often people are not reading to feed their minds the positive and educational material for personal development and growth.  People tend to leave school and find a job or career and forget about further education.  Self-education is a wonderful and often under estimated way of growing.  Instead, people opt for video games, online social gaming, happy hour, and so on.  Please don’t neglect the mind and it will serve you well.  The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it is open.

Here are some of my favorites and recommended reading.  Enjoy!
